June 29th - Midnight Monarch Pillow Workshop
June 29th - Midnight Monarch Pillow Workshop
Learn how to crochet a mosaic overlay pillow, with a Monarch butterfly pattern! Pattern and photos by Alexis Sixel at SixelDesign.com.
Prior Experience Required: Slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet. (If you are rusty on one or more of these basic skills, please book a class with Janna prior to the first session. They will not be taught as a part of the workshop.) Please note that the skill level for this pattern is for Intermediate crochet experience.
You’ll learn: How to read and complete a pattern using a mosaic crochet chart, ending with a two sided pillow in the size of your choosing. No written directions are included, but Janna is here to help you! There are also videos by the designer included with the pattern for some techniques. After we have finished our crocheted panels, we will assemble them into a pillow.
We’ll provide: Hands-on instruction over 6 sessions, in a small class setting of 4 students.
