Simple Slipper KAL - Mar 2


A simple garter stitch slipper pattern knitted flat and seamed with neat crocheted finishing.

Use two small skeins of fingering weight sock yarn held double (note the opportunity to use up your sock yarn scraps!) or a single strand of worsted weight yarn.

Level: Confident Beginner. Must know how to knit, and cast-on. We can help with the decreases and crochet edging so don't let this deter you!

Materials List:

  • Approximately 35gr/160 yds/150 m of two skeins of fingering weight yarn or 70 gr/160 yds/150 m of worsted weight yarn. Great project to mix and match stash or leftovers.

  • Contrasting color for cuff and top edge.

  • Simple Garter Stitch Slippers a free pattern on Ravelry by
    Hanna Leväniemi.

  • Size US 4 (3.5mm) straight or circular needles. An extra needle for 3-needle bind off.

  • Size US E (3.5mm) crochet hook (or close)

  • Tapestry needle, and scissors (may bring your own).

Session: Saturday afternoon March 2, 3 - 5 pm.
